What happens before the clinic?

So I’m off to Trondheim to have another weekend clinic. Which I love. More about that later.

What goes on before the clinic? If you’re interested in knowing then you should continue reading this blog.

First me and Mia look through dates to see when the competitions and other trainer’s are around. Once we’ve found a few dates we check with my main 2 yards to see if it is suitable for them. When we all agree on a possible date. I announce it on my Facebook group for people to see.

As soon as I see interest showing and it seems to be a date which works for most people – I book my flights.

I teach Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I also give my clients the option of choosing how many days they would like to ride & how long a lesson they’d like. I offer 30, 45 & 60 minute lessons. You can have private or group lessons, dressage and showjumping. So that is also something they have to let me know.

A bit closer to the date I ask to get to know specific wishes regarding times and then my jigsaw puzzle starts. Making everyone happy and get them in at a suitable time! Can be harder than it sounds.

I am also so lucky to have people who drives me from A to B so that also needs organising.

Fail and trail, eventually we get a schedule that suits everyone. Then it uploads to my Facebook group! Often some little tweaks will be needed. Things change and horses go lame, riders get sick or people ask if possible to have a last minute lesson. I try to be as accomodating as possible without messing people around – to much. I promise there is papers all over the house, I like to call it organised complete chaos, haha!

I stay with Mia whilst I am in Trondheim which is lovely.

I don’t tend to ask ahead what people would like to work on as I find it much nicer to talk to them in person.

And that’s what goes on before I actually get to go and do my lovely clinics.

I hope you liked to get an insight – was it like you thought?

Let me know.
